Yes, I am a college student and I am using iPad for lectures. The iPad app I use is the Ghostwriter Notes app I bought at the majorspot[dot]com. It is very functional!

I wish every student can have an ipad so that teachers can put notes, study guides and homework on an app so that you completely eliminate paper other than reports and stuff. plus an app like this can keep you really organized cause it can download everything you will need for the day. but im just dreaming...

Great vid, but I still wonder if it does support RSS feed? My school provides students with the possibility to automatically update their class schedule using RSS feed since schedules change quite often. But I prefer not to carry my laptop each day to school. An Ipad would come in handy.
