The Ultimate Hobo Bag.wmv

I designed this hand bag just because I want to make some with one piece of material but decided to add a lining. Even though it has a seam down the middle I had cut the seam on mistake...LOL...LIVE AND LEARN!!! Anyway, it's the ultimate hobo bag, meaning a hobo of old was picture with a piece material or blanket or scarf tied to hold their belongings. Well, I wanted that effect in a way. The bag unfolds out almost completely. Sturdy, washable, and cute! I will have these available on etsy. But for my friends here the instructions are very easy to follow no patterns, just instructions...very easy! Just request them and I will send them...requires a yard and a half yards of two materials and 2 yds fuse facing and thread 3 fastener snaps or you can use buttons, just make the holes.

so it's, 1.5 yards of 2 different materials, plus 2 yards of fusing? do you have to use the fusing or can you leave it out?

@happylinnetfulify The fusing gives it body or more stability. I actually used upholstery fabric. you can leave the fusing out. It's your choice. Thanks for asking!
