Presented at the June 3, 2007 Empress Theatre Showcase in Las Vegas, Nv.
Cromwell Played by Sergio Garcia
Sir Thomas Moore Played by Micheal Plaisted
When Henry VIII failed to obtain a church divorce from Catherine of Aragon, he rebelled against the Catholic Church and the Pope. He issued an 'Act of Supremacy' making himself spiritual as well as temporal leader of England, and he required all subjects to sign the document. His Lord Chancellor, Sir Thomas More, would not sign. Henry's henchman, Thomas Cromwell, increased various plots and threats to force More to comply, Charges of treason were eventually brought and More was executed, This scene is in Cromwell's study, Cromwell puts forward false charges and More refutes each with solid evidence. Masteer Rich is transcribing their conversation.
I my gosh. The person who posted this must really dislike the actors and/or director. I feel sorry for them.

If it's an amateur production I'll give them credit for trying. Otherwise...

Should I take it this was an amateur production? This acting seems really crappy. I did a better version of Sir Thomas More and Cromwell for my Senior High Drama class.
