Men shouldn't go to sperm banks, if women want our magic ingredient, they can have it the old fashioned way.

On the flip side, when cloning/incubating is perfected, men will no longer need women once all/any of their positions of power are stripped form them. Men can perform all the tasks women can, aside from birthing (which would be rendered redundant with the perfection of either cloning or incubation). The day the success rate of cloning and/or incubation reaches acceptable levels will mark a historic day, indeed. Currently, though, we do still need each other.

Realistically, women will continue to need men for as long as any male holds sufficient power that either cannot be or has not yet been taken from him. As long as any position of power held by a man continues to be held by a man, he will be needed. The moment you replace him or otherwise take his power from him is when he will no longer be needed. To add to that, cloning has not yet been perfected. Women (will) still need sperm to reproduce, (eventually).

That's just reality.

I don't find it amusing, no. The only people I have ever known to find such a thing amusing are women and children. Basically, those people who either cannot or have not experienced it for themselves. On another note, enjoying a personal experience and finding the experiences of others amusing are two very different things.
