I know, I have no idea how they came up with that and why the continue to tell people this? Why bra's vary so much is a whole other issue that needs to be addressed as well!

Yes, this is so logical and yet so many companies refuse to acknowledge it.

In the other video we are told that the back of the bra should stretch no more than 2 inches away from the body. In this video, we are told to add 4 or 5 inches to the ribcage measurement. Both cannot be true! If I add 5 inches, the bra is WAY too big, and rides up. In order for the bra to fit in the way this video shows, I have to round my underbust measurement to the nearest even number.

Don't add anything to your ribcage measurement. Rounding up is fine but you'll definitely want to play around with it, if you're measurement is a 34 in some styles/brands you may be a 36. Adding 4-5inches will result in a horribly fitting bra!
