The surge from Ike pulled out and came in too fast, and the gear wouldn't shift into reverse...so he tried to hurry up and drive out. Waves were obviously to fast and too large. I agree he pulled in way too close...but he wasn't being a dick to the surfers...just doin his job.

You guys are funny though. Till someone like me kicks yer ass at the bar, and first thing you wanna do is call the "ass" cop that you wished had got hurt to come save you, or to find your speaker box that got stole out the back of your Honda Accord. All that said, the video is funny as heck.

Also, all the cop hating comments. I agree a handfull of cops are asses, I have had my fair share kore than most any of you on here. However, that does not make all cops asses, but its funny to read some of your idiodic comments that mostly sound like 6th graders acting badass. Thats as bout intelligent as having problems with a few black people, and sayin there all asses....(to be continued above).....

If you read the description I wrote for the video, you will see that the cop approached the waters edge on the ATV, he did NOT drive into the water. I did not get my camera turned on fast enough to capture that. When he got there, a set of 3 waves came in, 1st one covering his tires (which is where the video starts). He put it in gear to pull forward trying turn it around, while still trying to tell the surfer to get out. Second wave covered the ATV, and you see what happened from there.
