My new KOHLER & CAMPBELL Piano

Just bought a brand new Piano. Sounds very nice. Although my camera doesn't pick up the sound very well. Need a real video recorder.

What´s up with the sound?

Is the piano tuned the wrong way?

I did the same thing with my digital camera. For awhile it seems to soften the overly loud tones, but then I reduced the volume of the digital piano. Overall, though, the sound waves of an acoustic piano seem to record better. You can record directly from dp to computer for cleaner sound, edit the sound and then merge the audio with the visual, but that involves a few more steps.

Thanks! I actually used the same camera for this one and Silent Night. I found acoustic piano is so loud that the sound wave actually "shakes" the Mic on the camera. So what I did to fix this is that I sticked a piece of foam to the camera so that the foam covers the mic. And that helped a lot.
