Mini Railgun 330V 360yF 19J (Plasma Flash) II

This is a test shoot of a small Railgun. I used only 3 photo capacitors (120yF) charged up to 330V. The energy is just 19J. I know, this is not a lot, but it works. (Sometimes)

Dies ist ein Testschuss einer mini Railgun. Ich verwendete dazu nur 3 Foto-Kondensatoren welche auf 330V geladen wurden. Die gespeicherte Energie ist zwar nur 19J, aber es funzt (ab und zu). Are those 120 yotafarad capacitors, or 120 microfarad capacitors? Sorry, your info sort of throws me off with the "y". XD

Or when assuming a 120YF one it would cover all of europe under a 12 meter high structure.

@flamedrag18 I was kind of bored so i calculated what i imagine a yottafarad capacitor would look like. assuming a capacitance density of 1kF per 10cm3 i can conclude you can cover 10% of europe under a layer of 1meter thick layer of capacitors to get a 1YF capacitor. Enjoy.

The formula for energy stored in a capacitor

E=.5CV^2

Then by algebra one can solve for the capacitance:

38J=C(250V)^2

C=349uF

@flamedrag18 You didn't even bother to read. He is questioning the use of the "y", which could be micro or "yocto". A yotta does have a capital Y, though.
