This video is for those that want to see what it's like in a practice session with some good drivers. (Did I mention TJ Majors - Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s spotter was among the ones in attendance!) This is for all the current Class D & Rookies of what you have to look forward to. :)

is this game as hard as it looks, as in easy to get loose in turns, or is it fairly drivable?

It's a hardcorer sim racer. It's very much like it is in real life minus the smells. :P It does take some getting used to and with some practice you'll be having fun.

How did you do those custom camera angles?

It was very tricky actually. You basically watch the footage you want to capture from all the cars in the vicinity using all the camera angles. Then once you find the right angle you press Ctrl + N. Then rewind the replay, press play and voila. :)

What program do you use to edit replay videos? By the way very nice video.

I capture with FRAPS and edit all the footage in Adobe Premiere

One quick question I forgot to ask.. does all the other gauges like oil / water etc work in the game or is it just for looks..

@ArcticWolves I wish Adobe Premiere wasnt 64 bit proccesors only now :( too poor for anything but 32bit :/ Im stuck with windows movie maker which takes about 50 trys to start up w/o crashing.....o/c this win7 SP1 beta is why it does that but ERRR come on adobe :(

@CarbonFibreX Paint Templates are on the forums, psd files inside the zip are what you paint in adobe photoshop(buy it or download illegally cause its like $2999 for CS5 :P) once done you upload to tradingpaints - com(change - to .) Trading Paints connects to your iracing account so dont but something thats against the TOS on ur car or u could get in trouble(ie naked woman).

you can get from rookie to D license in 1 day, but rookies get promoted only at the end of the month.

so when you join a few days before the promotion day, you can step up very quick.
