WFLD FOX News Chicago 9:00 PM Open - 2004

This is the open WFLD FOX Chicago used for their 9:00 PM newscast in 2004. The theme music is "Streaming News" by Cue 11 (formerly VU Music) and the voiceover is Scott Chapin.

Note: The cut they used of the "Streaming News" music package in this video doesn't have the electric guitar in it like what was used with their previous (2001-2004) open graphics. It just turned out that whoever put together the new open video back in 2004 just picked the wrong open music cut. It was corrected a few weeks later with the electric guitar cut being used again. However, it didn't last too long as the music was replaced with 615 Music's "The Viper" along with the Chicago skyline background being replaced with a plain blue background with an animated 3D FOX logo in the open graphics sometime around the end of 2004.
