  • do they have two guitars playing during this

  • yes, they had both guitarists played. they were sitting down and i couldn't get them in the shot because of people in front of me.

  • that might be because stephen has one of the best live acoustic voices around.

  • this is the most awesome video i've seen of them live!

  • anberlin sucks :)-~

  • Ive seen them twice, and both times, Stephen has freaken amazed me with how clean and powerful his voice is.

Granted both those times were within the last 2 months so its possible hes got a lot better, but he was literally amazing. and ive had singing lessons for over 5 years. he was technically perfect

  • ffs, stephen is amazing and you can't deny that..

  • aren't you a picky bastard

  • That is true...though many people would say otherwise. It seems like a fashionable thing to hate Coldplay now but oh, well. :)

  • Unwinding Cable Car is acoustic to begin with. you can't really make an acoustic version of an acoustic song lol

  • coldplay is in a different realm all their own

it's not right holding other bands to coldplay's standard. not many can meet that standard

  • That's true...but if other singers (I saw Coldplay live once & Chris Martin also jumped & ran around a lot but his voice was still great) can go crazy onstage & still deliver great vocals, any crowd would expect the same of Stephen. I'm not trying to be a wet blanket or anything, just that there's a certain expectation of band that sounds so good in the studio - after all, Anberlin is no McFly.

  • it's because in a normal live setting, stephen goes CRAZY. it's hard to breathe right, and therefore, sing right when you're more concentrated on jumping around riling up a crowd. which is why i love anberlin's acoustic shows-he's calm, and he delivers a flawless performance vocally every time
