Very ignorant comment, kid, but I suppose I can't blame you. At first glance this festival may remind you of such things, as rare as they me. Not insulting you, but if you think that Japanese culture consists solely of things like pedo manga and tentacle porn then you really don't know anything about Japan. That's like thinking everyone in America owns a gun, is racist, and watches reality TV. This particular festival is about raising crops and fertility.
