(composed by Martin Newell, this RSM version recorded for "ReNewell" tribute album)

"Here's a musician who has over 3 decades continued to put forth great, challenging and impossible-to-catagorize work that maintains the immediate zing of the best pop music. And yet, he isn't a household word. What gives? I guess the world ain't fair. The good news is that R. Stevie is unafraid to go direct to the consumer with his Web site. With more than 400 albums available (as mostly cassettes or CD-Rs), Moore is a genuine homegrown, one-man industry." - Brad San Martin

  • This song might as well be the beatles, that's true. Because they would have been proud as fuck to play this and it would be remembered as one of their greats.

  • this stuff is the holy grail of R stevie moore

  • @billyharris27 Brian Wilson an the rest of them?! who's the "rest of them"? Brian wilson is great and all but I honestly don't understand the cult following.... he's the same guy who wrote a song called Salt Lake City.. which is awful... amongst many other beach boys tracks that were awful. I think what you meant to say was John Lennon/ McCartney or Ray Davies.

Nothing against Wilson, but he's not a genius... He is really good though.

  • too good... can't like this enough...

  • @billyharris27

No need to bash Daniel Johnston. At his best his music has a simplistic innocence that makes it powerful.

  • great song writing!

  • exactly 10 years ago now!

  • @billyharris27

Thhhhat is debatable. Except for the last part.
