If the house is as immovable as his hair, it'll be a fine house.

You can only run for office if you have big money; how can you make that money, or get large enough donations, without compromising your progressive ideals? so you do make money, or take $ from rich people, and then you're vulnerable to accusations of hypocrisy. democrats have begun to raise money by getting small amounts from lots of ordinary people, but its still not enough on its own. the system thus makes it really difficult for anyone left of center to take part in politics. neat trick.

BAWAHAHAHAAAAAHAAAAAHAHAHAHAAA AAAAAA! ! ! LIAR LIAR

The Wall Street Journal on Friday:
34 New Orleans homeowners who face foreclosure actions from Fortress.

Edwards worked for Fortress Investment Group, getting paid $479,512. He also had $2.7 million to $8.5 million invested in Fortress, according to his personal financial report. And Fortress executives have donated generously to his presidential campaign—company employees have donated more than $150,000 toward his candidacy this year.

So if you are rich you can't help the poor. Jeepers we are screwed. Does Obama have a hammer or Hillary or McCain?

If they have a hammer they can pound a nail.
Edwards is a HYPOCRITE! He claims to care about the poor, but he is just as greedy as the people he's bashing. As evidenced by the above comment. America saw through him and he got tossed.

Actually given America's track record, the fact he didn't make it to the primaries makes him more qualified the the Hillary or Obama. Case in point, who did the Dems put against G.W. . Kerry, the fact Bush won the vote doesn't mean he was better. It meant America wasn't willing to fire one idiot that acted promptly, for one that waffled.
