@StaceyW078 String are usually made with the gauges that they're made for this tuning. Either the distance between the nut and bridge of your guitar are a bit too far a part or you're trying to tune with strings thats gauge might just be a little too thick.

@StaceyW078 you were saying that it makes your string loads tighten, but standard tuning is where we base whether it's tightened more or less. So it's the middle ground.

This tuning tightens the strings loads so go careful with your playing as the strings are so tight they are more likely to snap
