On Saturday my roommate Kim & I drove down PCH from Laguna Beach to Dana Point & were heartend to see so many people standing for what they believe in. I wish I would have filmed on the way up to Laguna, but I hadn't thought of it yet. By the time we went back down and I got my camera out, a lot of people had already left.

I chose to put my video to this song because it reminds me of simpler times and of the beauty and hope in traditional marriage, the Divine institution given to us by God.

Please rate & comment, I welcome all opinions about this polarizing subject. I don't believe in censorship, but if your comment is disrespectful to either side I will delete it.

Special thanks to my friends Callie, Grant, Katie, Aubrey & Allie for the photos!

  • Thanks, Eramin, for your wonderful comment. Norway is one of ten countries that have full marriage equality. It is joined by South Africa, Sweden, Argentina, Iceland, Canada, Belgum, Spain, the Netherlands and Portugal. In all of these countries, giving rights to gay people has not taken away one single right from straight people.

  • so sad to see so many people who support discrimination:( I grew up in Norway, where same-sex marriage have equal rights. When I see things like this, I understand that I can not take my rights for granted, I must remember to be grateful to those who fought the fight for me in previous generations. Do not give up fighting for your rights, one day you will have equal rights in your country as well, of course all people should be able to get married!

  • @biggsterboyThank you! 83redrose83 is an impressive person, not because she agreed, only because she was open-minded and brave to listen and i truly appreciate that! I do not ask people to approve or even like my way of living. I also understand perfectly that some would be happier the legislation was arranged according to The Bible. but then why bothering with Prop.8 there divorcing rates are MUCH higher. Why not passing a proposition that bans divorcing? or consuption of shellfish? or ...

  • @caritas83 Beautifully written caritas83. And I'm impressed that redrose83 was willing to listen as well. I believe that any true Christian who sees first hand a gay family member or loved one suffering needlessly at the hands of people whose mission is to deny gays basic human rights, dignity and respect, will quickly realize how un-Christ-like this behavior is. Jesus said, "Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto Me." For the sake of gays AND Christians, stop HATING.

  • @83redrose83 Thank you for considering and listening my point of view. I appreciate it.

  • I do hate the fact that you used such a beautiful song to convey such bullshit...

  • @caritas83 good point.

  • @83redrose83: (5) him to see his partner because he was technically wasn't family. they could not say goodbye. He is still moaning and he probably'll for the rest of his life since he lost his soulmate. Don't you find this cruel? If not, I have nothing else to say to you. Despite what many believes we do not just go around and hook up with every guy we fancy. I personally do not have sex unless my relationship is really serious and I genuinely love the guy. It is not about sex it's about love

  • @83redrose83: (4) Also lastly, I really can not understand why you guys spend so much time and money to prevent people to be equal and happy when there are many other and important problems such as homeless people, crime, pedophiliacs that threaten the psyche of our kids. I am not asking people to say, I love gay people, but I am asking you to respect us enough. A friend of mine lost his partner of 25 years last year. 25 years of sharing life and while he was in intensive care, they did not let

  • @83redrose83: (3) play with others. -if you care to know, i find it immoral-. No matter what the bible says you would not stone her to death, would you? BUT no matter what the priest says, I did not choose to be gay, I did not learn it from someone else and I can not love a girl. It is not how Lord created me. I really can not understand what are you guys so afraid of me loving a guy and marrying w/him. What is it to you really? If you do not want to be w/a gay person then simply don't. I
