pete5537808 -- You will have a little trouble with insurance, the places to go are "A Plan" and Keith Micheals Plc. I'm insured through Keith Micheals and they are very good. Be honest with your insurance company and tell them exactly what the car is otherwise you may come unstuck in the event that the worst happens.
Speak to Gary Moulsen at Keith Micheals he is a scooby driver and knows about these cars and will give you a competitive quote.

I'm thinking of getting one. What do you tell the insurance? Do you say it is a Subaru because it doesn't have any Subaru badges or do you say it is a Litchfield or can you get away with kit car insurance because Litchfield make so few?

It's not a concept car, you can buy it, the fact Mr Plato states the price is a bit of a give away really.
Personally, I'd have one of these any day of the week, over just about anything anyone would care to name.
