He failed to understand the Bible by King James I of Scotland had it edited to his private beliefs. According to the Torah, where the 10 commendments were translated from stated "Thou shalt not murder".
Also the Bible states many times, it is allright to defend your home, family, and nation.
Being a Vet I understand the man and his statement, at least he had the guts to serve and fight.
