@johnnybeane Johnny, while I agree it doesn't sound "Eddie"...like typical Van Halen, remember, he's not limited to one style. People always talk like (I'm not saying "you") if it doesn't have a million notes a minute then it's not Ed. I say to those people "listen to Lost Boys Calling" or "listen to Close But No Cigar" You are one of the Van Halen experts. Are you sure? It sounds pretty ROUGH, and his voice sounds YOUNG. I know what you're saying totally. I hope you see what I mean though.

@gossett2006 It sounds rough because it's a rough mono mp3 copy, I don't think this song was ever put out, think it was leaked like a DLR demo but im not sure, haven't kept up with DLR really.

I think I remember reading once that this was part of the Your Filthy Little Mouth sessions, along with other unreleased originals Mississippi Power and Cruel Obsession.

I like both Mississippi Power and Cruel Obsession, good tunes, not great, but a good listen if you can get a hold of them.

@gossett2006 Guitar wise if this was Eddie it would at least sound like Eddie. Even on "Close But No Cigar" it sounded like Eddie even though he just played rhythm guitar it had his style. But vocal wise this is Dave from the 90's. Listen the vocal line @0:46 - thats later solo Dave right there. Take Dave's vocals out and would you still think it's Ed, AL & Mike? It's just a generic music. The bk vox don't sound like eddie and mike. Im not sure what year this is from but i would say 1994-1998.
