I loved this song so much. Only wish my dad was something to sing about and to have looked up to instead of being such a bastard!

If nobody cares?? OMG This is just soooo marvelous!..I found it tonight and played it 5 x already and have tears running down my face every time. Carl Betz performs beautifully without saying a word--the emotion in his face is superb.

I looked for this song long before I discovered youtube so am so happy now to have found it. Used to watch DonnaReedShow but didn't see this one. See now I was only 11 at the time.

I love this song. I lost my dad when I was 27 and my kids were only babies. They never got to know him and what a great dad he was. I did make sure that my kids were raised just like my dad raised me and I have a super relationship with my kids. and my grandkids. Thanks for making me cry. Its a beautiful song.
