I figured I'd do a video to try and show what JVMs really sound like, as I haven't seen a video on here yet that does them justice... this one is closer, but still not as good as the real thing

@dobermann1973 I'm sure if you bought some new tubes and played around with it a lot you could make it sound a bit like it, but if the JCM800 sound is what you're after you'd be better off saving up and buying one of those

jvm!!!! because it goes beyond just metal tones i mean mesa are better for that mostly untill the jvm came out JVM JVM JVM!!! lol

the only amp that can get the "plexi sound" is the plexi i know from experience( i own a 1969 plexi and a JVM410H both are awesome in there own way but if i had to choose only one it would be the plexi) that sound comes from 2 things (1) having a the volume on 10 (no pre amp gain control the gain on the plexi is mostly from the power stage witch you can only get buy having the volume cranked) on newer amps the gain leans toward the pre amp stage (2) no frills or fx. just volume and eq.

@scorpion65100 JCM800 has a more vintage sound its .The JVM has more of a souped up jcm2000 sound plus it has 4 channels 3 modes per channel i know some one said you cant get a JCM800 sound from this amp but you can crunch channel in red mode works great for stock jcm800 tones, the od1 mode in green work best for modded jcm800 tones. the jvm in my opinion is the best amp sise the Marshall plexi.
