IBM T43 vs. T23

Yes the T23 starts up faster, but its much slower in doing things after starting up, not to mention the 16mb shared card in it. Watch the reviews for more specs.

T23 is too old. It's CPU is Intel Pentium III while T43 is Intel Centrino.

I played UT 2004 at max resolution, and high settings on that 16mb S3 super savage on my old T-23. The minimum requirements for the game is 32mb of video memory =/

T43 looks more nicer. Don't really care about the longer wait time when it boots up. Like you mentioned! It runs fast and smooth once its booted up.

I'm buying the t43 computer for working programming and my occasional favorite games. I'm buying it anyway, but I could hear some opinions.
