    This song was a stone classic back in the day.. I grew up with my record player and my 45's... that's all I knew.. and I still love the music to this day! God Bless u for the time you served for me and this country... :)

    I remember being back from Nam, going thru my divorce 23 years old and just getting in my car and driving to California to clean my mind and live with my uncle. Though they were not the best of times, I wouldn't trade the for the world. This song got me thru a lot of crap.
