I love how Elton is so humbled and appreciative of Leon Russell. I've listened to the album and I love it. Not a big fan of the "current" music, but this album tops my list amazingly. Hopefully this will be a start for future work to come with Elton and T-Bone.

I hope there is a small documentary made for this great project. It's so sweet & soul full, both Leon & Elton rock. Can't wait to hear the album.

Elton John continues to amaze me..all my life you have been a presence.I remeber as a child riding in my uncles 74 chevy nova with bennie and the jets playing on the 8 track. One great song after another for my lifetime..and now you help Leon..thanks Elton...you are more than a musician.

I worked, and still do, for the late Delaney Bramlett's record label. It was nice to hear Elton mention his name when he said, he first heard Leon with Delaney & Bonnie. As you must know Leon and Delaney were in the Shindogs on TV's Shindig show together.
After that show ended they continued to work together.
They wrote, "Superstar", that The Carpenters made a hit out of.
Also, Elton's and Leon's backup singers are the best.. the one that is hitting those high notes is Tata Vega,(Google her)

This CD blows me away...can't stop playing it or singing it...awesome gospel singers and Neil Young to boot. Heavenly...every single song is superb!

What a great NEW sound! Leon Russell is still as good on piano as anyone. Now together these two have released a Grammy nominated song. To sweeten 2010, Leon will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This has been long over due. Leon truly is. "The Master of Space and Time." The Union is a joint project that could have happened in the early 1970s, when Elton was opening for Leon. As Elton grew, Leon's stable of acts transpired with the late Freddie King, backed by Leon's Shelter People
That was amazing! Do you have anymore to share??
Love seeing that side of Elton.
