  • Wow, TMA! What a well-spoken, well-reasoned, well-researched offering! I've never seen you do anything like this before - bravo! :-)

  • Thanks Linda! That really means a lot to me.!

  • "The following link provides an overview of important contributions by Persian philosophers, scientists and mathemeticians."

So what? Past good deeds justify current evils?

  • tingtangs, I haven't the foggiest idea where you might have gotten the impression that I was saying past good deeds justify current evils.

  • they want what is rightfully theirs. But that is not what we get revolution after revolution, there r 2 groups in Iran one pro west and freedom and the second one, poor& very religious and they isolated themselves from outside completely (these people will use God to act like animal). Again I thank u 4 knowing my history that meansa lot. ahmadynejad is a crazy whackjob that we all r afraid of what he will do nex -as bad it sounds we need a hero to kill him 4the peace of the world/humanity.

  • Thank you for your comments, theroseful. They are especially appreciated. You do have my sympathy for what you are going through. Unfortunately, just killing Ahmadinejad isn't going to solve anything. It is more than just one man who is oppressing the people. He is certainly one of the craziest of the whackjobs, but there are a lot of ruthless people backing him up.

  • Great video.

  • Well made, but it's pronounced 'Eyh-Rahn'.

    'Eeh-Rahn' not 'I(EYE)-RAN'.

  • thank you, you are a realistic person and true friend of Iranian people

  • OBAMA!!!! OBAMA!!!! OBAMA!!!!!!

He apologizes for Bush fuck-ups, but he's trying to make the best out of it.

  • Health care? Whats that got to do with our discussion? But,FYI, Obama and the Dems had a iron proof majority for the first time in decades-yet still could not pass that trash.WHY?

  • The US is in no way responsible for the nonsense going on in Iran. We have made mistakes-no doubt. But the people got what they thought they wanted. Now they need to kick this nut out and work towards joining the rest of us in the 21st CT

  • There's not much Obama can do to influence the Senate on health care. But soon we will have universal health care and be grateful for it.

And the US is responsible for the Shah staying in power. We're now dealing with blowback from overthrowing a democratically elected leader and keeping a dictator in power simply for oil.

  • There's only been a handful of sentences for stoning in the last eight years.

And this moratorium was enacted well before Mahmoud came to power.

  • I always love how others, rather than dealing with now and accepting their own role in matters, look for a scapegoat. The USA suffers from a weak leader, true. We need to put this little hitler on notice-and mean it.
