Nobel Peace Prize Laid on Empty Chair

The Nobel Committee held its Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo Friday with the focus on an empty chair. Laureate Liu Xiaobo was still locked up in a Chinese jail, while his wife remained under house arrest. (Dec. 10)

President Carter got the peace prize too. You know Obama was nominated for the Nobel Peace prize twelve days after taking office. Upon acceptance of winning it, Obama was praised by the committee, "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy". . They also gave the peace prize to Yasser Arafat, the leader of the PLO, the best known terrorist organization on the globe. This is like giving it to David Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the KKK.

nobel peace prize in these dates is just a pc of shit being used as a tool to achieve some kind of dirty political goal to overthrow other competent countries by some incompetent countries from the west. So anyone want peace prize , what u have to do is to keep stiring the peace of your own countries and give more praises towards the west, then u will be selected by the nobel prize committee , mostly comprising white people from the west. The non-Western world should have a day to reflect on how the world has changed. Ask questioned to what the hell is the NObel Peace but another tool of your former enemies. Why do Western contries cared about human rights now when they never cared about your human rights when they point a gun at your face. Nobel Peace Prize should be given to the Chinese Nation for lifting more people out of poverty than anyone in history, for restoring dignity to a nation rampaged by Western imperialism and colonialism (Opium War, 8 Nation Alliance). Where was human right and freedom, where were those Western countries want to slice China into pieces for their own consumptions? Western prize DOES NOT represent any universal values, but their own values that they have tried to imposed on the world since 1800.
