Weirdly enough I speak with a lot of different people daily, neighbors, taxi drivers, etc etc - and I can tell you that most people "thought" the same way at least back then... only a tiny few amount of people (PS et al) knew what they were talking about and understood what it meant to be able to explain it... Funny to see how in retrospect all problems and accidents seem so "obvious"...
