(We Were There = Bokura ga ita)

My entry for the first round of Project Editor II, the theme of the round was "create a tribute for your favorite anime".
So obviously, I would have to go with Bokura ga ita once again, no complaining though. Since it's one of my favorite sources to actually edit to :)

After only a few minutes of thinking, I came up with the idea of creating sort of a trailer for the series. Since presenting the anime, showing off some of it's good sides (which in my opinion would be the dramatic twists), sort of is what makes this a rather solid tribute.

So I basically made half the video the first day, using nothing but volume 5 of the series (the only volume that I still had ripped and ready since Our Farewell was in the making).
I edited on it for a few hours than took a break on it for the rest of the given editing time. Well until the last day that is. The rest of the video was thrown together at pretty much the last day we had. then uploaded before I had to run because of other plans in my schedule.

Anyways, the result, in my personal opinion, wasn't all that bad.
And seemingly the judges would agree, giving me the highest score. Resulting in me taking the first place position of the round.

Can anyone tell me about this anime like is it one of those depressing to read animes with alot of drama and sorrow and unwanted love? Or is it a funny romance type of thing with a light hearted ending.

I ask because I seldom watch shows about deep love, it makes me think about stuff I dont wanna be thinking about like the future and what it holds in store for me lol.

@2x2iz5 It's sort of like, innocent and really realiztic. It's rather simple in terms of story and such but leaves you with both tears and laughter. It's simply about one of our main-char experiencing her "first love" and relationship. It's really sorrowfilled, but also joyfull and funny. I HIGHLY recomend you to watch it, seriously, it's the best of romance/drama/school life you can get.

you seem to like stuff like this, its kinda like 5 cetimeters per second. boy meets girl, they wait too long, dont admit how thy feel until its far too late, missed chances.

im never going to look up the plot for one of the animes from your amv again. it makes me dipressed.

@2x2iz5 i got the first volume of it only because 1. i liked the name of it and 2. my cousin wanted a manga for her birthday, i was curiouse to find out what it was about and before i gave it to my cousin i wanted to try it. after i did i ended up just getting someother series cuz i loved this one so much
