Its designed to be installed onto a single wall stud. A "dry wall" is simply a stud wall sheeted with sheet rock. Find a single wall stud behind the sheet rock. Select the position and the stud, mark the center of the wall stud, simply follow the installations instructions and within about 15 minutes you should have your LifeStyle ironing center securely fastened through the sheet rock into the selected wall stud.
