Multi-fatal 3-alarm fire on Woodycrest Avenue in the Bronx. 9 deaths, mainly children, many others critically injured. Contains graphic and compelling video from the scene.

To all those writing negative comments understand we in the industry see this on a regular basis. News stations usually edit out the gory parts. What you are looking at is un-edited. What WE see every day. Death is part of life. If people can only realize this perhaps we will cherish life all the more. I kiss my children every time I see them again after a day of work. Police are heroes too. If it weren't for police than Johnny will be breaking in your home tonight without any guilt cause he's not going to jail. There would be total chaos in the world if there weren't heroes like police officers. And I am a firefighter and I respect Police Firefighters and EMS they deserve every penny they get if not more for what they do and go through on a daily basis.

For what it's worth. Your preface doesn't make the video any less tactless. You say you were doing your job. Well in doing so, you made it that much harder for everyone else, i.e, the ones that matter. To do theirs. Good 'job'.

@mrpotatohead8989 not a good representation of Maine and your department if you openly admit to an intent of assaulting someone and violating their constitutional rights to freedom of press. What is wrong with documenting any event when it only serves as a the reality of the world we live in? Which is also a harsh reminder to people of what they could face if they are not cautious, preventative or do something foolish or criminal to impose this situation on others, this makes people think.

You say your "doing your job" you sir have no job in this situation. Filming fires and reporting on deaths is one thing, showing the bodies of dead children is just as bad if not worse that child pornography. You were not expressing any right of the amendments, your being sick and unethical. Also the information in your so called "production" is illegal, yep that's right, I bet you forgot to get everyone's consent before you filmed this, I should know I charge people is this everyday!

Being an amateur fire photographer. I find this video and the actions of the photrographer disgusting. Not only do you piss off the police,fire and familys (if any are left) with this type of filming. You ruin it for the rest of us who like to film the bravest in action.

Being a person who films fires. You MUST respect the feelings of all who are part of this tragedy.

There is an unwritten code of staying away from victims when filming a fire.
