Dean is from San Francisco and has lived in LA, Atlanta, and Houston since 2004. Dean will once again play at the Beaumont Jazz & Blues Festival Saturday May 7th, 2011 in downtown Beaumont, Texas. He will lead the Houston All Stars of Jazz featuring the great Kyle Turner on tenor sax, Alvin King on keys, Brennan Nase (guitar), Gerald Calhoun (bass), Chad Welling (rhythm/lead guitar), Craig Baldwin(keys), and Marcie Chapa (percussion).
