I wrote this song in 1979 and it was one of the five songs that I recorded at my very first recording session in April 1981 at Jim Maxwell's Globe Recording Studio on Dickerson Road in Nashville, Tennessee. It was released later that month on my first 45rpm, on Side-2. "King Of The Fish" was on Side-1.

After 27 years "Please Don't Squeeze the Charmin" is now availble as the title cut on a 2008 Roughshod Records CD Single with "Snakes Don't Sleep On A Hot Rock." BONUS: Lyrics & soundtracks to both songs are on this CD.
