If this was 1979, Doug and Julie were divorced. Julie had gone into a deep depression following an accident that burned her face (obviously fixed by the time of this party) and pushed Doug away. In her despair, she had run off to get a quickie divorce. Doug was soon tricked into marrying Lee Dumond, but he and Julie started having an affair and remarried in 1981. The teenaged Hope showed up soon after that to take over the supercouple mantle with Bo.

Richard Guthre was a neighbor of mine for 3yrs...out apartments were on HOLLYWOOD and FULLER ave.... we had a ball out by the pool.... smoking some pot..and soaking up the sun...eating pizza at night....
