  • Good double tongue.

    You may try to practise it slowly , try to make each notes to be equaly sounded

    That means, "tu" and "ku" , but others should hear no difference , just like pahud's khachaturian flute concerto 3rd mov with zinman, listen if you have time.

  • Most many people or teachers thought the tonguing for this piece should be all double tongued, actually it should be 'tu tu ku tu tu', that's what I was using... very difficult tonguing this is, I had only 5 days to practice that, I cried several times for failing that...

  • I could only get upto 198 at that time, but the requirement was 208 or 220 for that presto!
