  • testa engine is flat 12 and wont fit in 355 for fuck sake !!!

  • @houdini69 Then look at the photo links, you Ferrari expert!

  • I would say....YOU are a fool! It`s no problem to put the V12 into the 355. Two days work , and the engine runs.

By the way....post some vids from your Super Mini and your Hardcore Clio! -)))

  • Dude.... are you fucking joking? If you know ANYTHING about cars, you'd know that the testarossa engine was one of the best engines Ferrari ever made, and it's very well known that it's an AMAZINGLY fast engine as well. A riced out honda???? PST... My Focus SVT smokes h22's all day and I've only got 200 hp. This Ferrari would eat anything YOU put against it all day long at a track.

  • @vfIskullangel Only the last, 1987 GNX.. And it wasn't even Buick - it was McLaren that made that possible by slapping on a Garrett T3 turbocharger with huge intercooler, performance torque converter, reprogrammed tranmission with oil cooler, dual exhaust, reprogrammed eeprom, and whatever else.. The GNX pulled 4.7 seconds out of the hole to 60mph and 13.5 quarter. The Testarossa still did a 13.5 quarter, but it was a V12 mated to a 5-speed manual, not v6 4-speed automatic. ;)

  • @vfIskullangel The Testarossa doesn't begin to clear her throat until 4500rpm and peaks its 390 horses at 6300rpm, 500 below its redline. Even if you short shift, it won't pull in the next gear because it's below its peak torque range of 4500rpm. It's not a great car.. On a short road course, I wouldn't hesitate putting my money on the R31. I love Ferrari, but I'm not naive. The Testarossa is for doctors and lawyers, not drivers. It's not the F40 which are for both. ;)

  • @epcdaniel Wrong. Unless its tuned its not happening.

  • @vfIskullangel That depends on the track. The '85 Skyline R30 or R31? The FJ20ET is only a 4-cylinder engine and it's 190hp.. The R31's RB20DET inline-6 is the same, unless it's the RB20DET-R. Even that's just 210hp.. On a short road course, it's quite possible for the Skyline to roast the Testarossa. There's no way the Testarossa would out-handle and out-perform the Skyline in that senario. ;)

  • @Archangel21416 The original 4.9L engine itself isn't a bad engine, but other parts relating to it aren't great. The serpentine belt system, oil pump and water pump weren't spectactular and the catalyric converters overheated, causing engine bay fires. The transmissions weren't that great either, with 2nd gear syncros wearing out on daily drivers.. and not to mention exploding differentials. So, without "fucking joking", why don't you get your head on. PS. Ford Fuckus SVT (aka POS) sucks. :P

  • @houdini69 Listen to it - it's a V12. Whether it's from the Testarossa or not, I can't say looking at this video, but it's not the original 355 v8 for damn sure.

  • Awesome! I would love to live in Europe where doing this would be more of a financial possibility! Unfortunately here in Australia we are limited to sticking newer high performance engine into older classic cars to get our kicks, still lots of fun tho! Top work!!

  • the testarossa engine its more reliable!
