The only fish that really don't taste good, walleye, pollack, and carp unless it's destroyed with spices

Slimy? Are you insane? Maybe if it's raw, but I don't of any fish that is slimy when cooked. Even squid isn't that slimy. Mackerel is good, but not near the top of my list. Grouper is exceptionally firm, mild, and delicious. You're culinary compass is all off base. If you're ever in the States get some Ahi Tuna steaks, puts Mackerel to shame.

I've never eaten grouper because it simply doesn't exist in my country, and I loathe salmon regardless of how it's cooked - I find it's texture slimey and it has a weird after-taste - and fresh tuna just doesn't exist in Europe since tuna don't live in our waters. Maybe the mackerel in your country are different to the mackerel we get in northern Europe, but they're a damn fine eating fish.

salmon, grouper, tuna, all better than mackerel. Except wahoo. Wahoo is right up there.

Mackerel are the best eating fish in the sea. I would quite happily just eat a big one like that whole.
