Even if he DID travel, the refs wouldn't have called it a travel because it makes basketball more exciting to watch and more popular. It gives basketball more publicity. Obviously, he could have just done a lay-up, but what's the fucking fun in that? No one wants to see a fast break layup. They'll call a travel if there's a defender because it's unfair to the defender.
