Scion tC License Plate Bulb Replacement

This is a short video showing how to replace the license plate bulb on the Scion tC. The car in the video is 2009, but the procedure is the same for all years.

You have almost 4,000 hits! See your stupid friend doesn't know what he's talking about. I could not figure out how to get to that bulb and when I took it out of the deck lid and brought it to the Autozone, they didn't know how either. One note though, it looks like you just jam that chisel in there. You have to be careful not to damage the connections. Thanks.

Are those the "Meng Motorsports High Power 194 Wedge LED Bulb"?

They also work on the front dome lights as well right?

@sfplayer911 Yes. But Meng recently came out with the improved 5-LED bulb for a wider dispersion, which I recommend in the license plate and parking lights. For the domes, stick with the 6LED high power one.
