Then I guess I didn't see you. Have you been to the lake recently? Is it down much more? I read an article it may be gone by 2021.

I was at Lake Mead that weekend near Meadview. I wonder if I saw your plane. I got a real nasty sunburn that weekend, I'll never forget it.

toucansam3 Meadview is about 100 miles from where I was flying you were near the grand wash cliffs. This is the far west end the boulder basin. Near Boulder City Nevada.

hello!
i´m curios, when you take off with your rc-plane and when you land, do you take off the videoglasses seconds before and after?
or do you start and land with this videoglasses on?

No never. In fact for Fpv'er I know and for myself it is easier 100% including take off and landing. The video is if you are inside aircraft. Besides when you drive you are inside car lol. You may wind up crashing if you take off goggles, because you may become disoriented.

Flying 100% with goggles on. In fact I look oppisite of where aircraft is. All virtual piloting. Thank you for viewing.

I think this is cool but have some issues and those are...you can njow fly this further than you would normally be able to because there is no need to see the plane anymore. What if Im flying my real plane or tour heli around the area? your as high as I am and could cause a prob. I think you really shoudl think hard about flying 2k and higher over any surface.

Looking into that. So far the tour heli's are far south of where I fly. To the north the commercial airlines. Only in the late afternoon (done flying for me) is when tour heli's leave Hoover dam area. They generally fly over the Lake. Thank you for comment FFred
