looking at all the comments here i just i feel i need to explain this: the song is written by Chris Martin (only !!!) and first performed live by him in 2002 .. only in 2004 he gave it to Embrace and in 2005 Coldplay released that song as B-side ..

@dufski I agree, they write world class songs and look the part but I am stunned sometimes at how they ever got as famous as they did with Danny's tuneless vocals. I'd say that the vocals on this performance are actually pretty acceptable so what is the problem the rest of the time. Can he not here himself or is it nerves or does his voice just give up. I saw them live a few years back and it was awful. I can't listen to them now for this reason even though the songs are just so sublime

The frontman sounds like a below average karaoke singer in the local pub on a Saturday night.
Gravity was co written by Danny from Embrace and Chris Martin from Coldplay. They wrote the song together, so they both contributed to it.
