UXO's kill 20,000 people annually. It is estimated that it will cost $16 billion to rid of all the UXO in Laos and US spends $2 million annually, far less than what it costs daily for bombing of Lao during the Vietnam War. At the current rate of bomb removal due to lack of funds, it will take 3,000 years to rid of all the bombs in Laos.

Everybody knew Communist lao broke the treaty in Geneva by bringing the Viets and Chinese into the fight. Shoot if we didn't bombed them more innocent Lao people would have died then.

When I saw this vdo. Its very sad. I'm lao (bor khai zart). I wish we(all)should come together and build our country. Do not blame the Outsider we should blamed our sorry-ass leaders.
