Imagine heading behind-the-scenes to get all of the 411 about the movie's secrets. Well, we've got that info for you right now!

That's right, we're relaying all of the beauty, clothes and set secrets from the New Moon production. Hi guys, I'm your host Dana Ward in Beverly Hills for Clevver TV.

So let's start with the hairstyling. We already know how Robert Pattinson's locks are a main focus for fans, and how he revealed that he had to re-shoot an entire fight scene JUST BECAUSE the signature Edward style was out of place, meaning a chunk of hair fell onto his forehead. In fact, Robert apparently got his hair trimmed every 7 to 10 days! Beyond that, Peter Facinelli kept it easy with a wig for Carlisle. Plus, Nikki Reed's hair reportedly got very damaged after she dyed it blonde for the original shoot as Rosalie, so for New Moon she wore a wig. On the other end of the spectrum, Elizabeth Reaser chose to dye her real hair for the sequel even though she wore a wig for Esme in Twilight. And when it came to keeping Kristen Stewart's locks healthy and rich in color, the on-set stylist was sure to deep condition it regularly.

Some other cool behind-the-scenes info for New Moon includes how an expert special effects designer - Cristina Patterson Cert - hand-painted each set of contacts worn by the Volturi. Obviously, there were some special effects with making Taylor Lautner appear to be giant, so he got to wear lifts in his shoes to exaggerate Jacob's newfound height and his t-shirt wardrobe all got tailored to imply that he was busting out of them.

As far as the set goes, the wardrobe department was sure to have Bella's ring from the first movie included in the sequel. In fact, 3 ring replicas were kept on hand at all times. Plus, this is a funny fact. Apparently, Bella's sheet set is from Target and it's completely sold out. You cant even find the set on ebay these days!

We hope you enjoyed this behind-the-scenes info for New Moon. I'm Dana Ward from Clevver TV reminding you to subscribe to our YouTube page as well as bookmark ClevverTV.com, so that you stay in-the-know about everything Twilight and, of course, everything entertainment. Thanks for watching!

  • I thought that they just got colored contacts from some company. But I was wrong, I guess some special artist designed them. And I didn't know Nikki Reed died her hair blonde in the first movie, but not in the second one. I thought it was natural hair. But I watched Twilight: New Moon in theaters with my cousin, Lindsay. It was so awesome!
