Actually putting soda into cake batter helps, maybe you should have done that? My friends put sprite in my last birthday cake and it was absolutely awesome.

hahaha, that was special. I don't care for powdered sugar icing, my mom made it once and it wasn't for me.

My friend and I tried and failed to make icing over the summer. We just kept adding powdered sugar and milk until we ran out. Then we went to the store and my friend was about to start looking for more powdered sugar before I reminded her that actual icing is sold in a small cylindrical container. :) ... good story?? I thought so. Also I enjoy re-watching Dan's videos :)
