I was sitting on the ground, as I was media at this event, also. This was excellent. I was awed by this woman and this is not a bash on Canada, but it is an example of what we do not want in the US. Thanks!

About 99.9% of Canadians wouldn't mind in the least if you Americans kept her.
She's "under assault in her country from the media and the left." That's only partially correct. She's also under assault from moderates and conservatives for defaming the Canadian system.
Most people don't realize that the current Canadian government is very conservative, much like the Bush regime. And they have repeatedly discredited this woman.

She is self employed with a pre-existing condition. She could never quality for insurance in the US. Now she is suing Ontario to cover her bills. She would be bankrupt if she lived in the US.
And, her tumor type was NOT life threatening.
