How to use a card reader

when i insert the reader into the usb port nothing pops up,and none of the drives have my videos or my photos

Are you using an old card reader with a new SDHC memory card? The old card readers cannot read the new SDHC cards. Also some computers won't automatically show anything. Some make you go into "My Computer" in order to read the card.

@GamerKayak Without being there to check your cards, reader, even USB ports, there's too many variables to try and troubleshoot. Try using another card, or using the reader in another computer, that should help narrow down the cause of your issue. Good luck!

@Epchip: As long as you have a USB port you can use a card reader.
