Tree cutting at Condo's Pacifico by the Huatulco Fire Department

april 5 2009 .
just outside my bedroom window at Condos Pacifico in Huatulco , Mexico , a dying palm was being taken down .
this had been the home to a woodpecker and her newborns , so before the tree was taken down ,the chicks had to be saved .
it goes fast so here's hints to when the bird things happen ~ at 1:46 he gives thumbs up , saying he sees the chicks .
~ at 2:03 he takes out one chick and slides it into his right pocket .
~ at 2:06/2:07 he takes the 2nd chick out and slides it into his left pocket ... then goes down to deliver the birds ( you will see people rush to the lower left of the screen ) .
then the tree comes down in parts.
the video is a combo Time Lapse and Regular speed .
