(Con.t) In "Close" his voice is so modulated almost to a whisper that I can imagine him taking Jen in his arms and looking at her so tenderly in declaring his love. In "Smilin' Through", he conveys the feelings of a man who is describing the love of his life and the long years of their relationship still strong even "when the clouds brought their tears". Your selection of film clips and stills is absolutely Magic! See next post.

Hi Baz: This is truly a magnificent compilation of wonderful scenes and movie stills from 5 of the 8 films of Jeanette and Nelson. The 3 songs featured here give the clips such emotional impact that only Nelson can effect for he always sings straight from the heart. He can convey to the listener the full emotional embodiment of every lyric. In "Just A-Wearyin' For You" one can detect the longing and yearning to see his beloved and the sadness in his voice that she isn't near him yet. See next .
