Autumn Goodbye: Chapter 1 (Part 2)

I pulled into the student parking lot and stopped the car. I got out and saw my boyfriend Stefan. "Hello, beautiful!" he said as he took me into his arms and hugged me tightly. I grabbed his hand and walked into the school with Stefan by my side. I wasn't very popular. I went through the entire day being pushed around or checked out by random guys I passed in the hallway. I was exhausted by the end of the school day. I wouldn't even be home until six though because of basketball practice. Coach Smith made us run perimeters of the gym today about ten times. I got into my car at quarter to six, and drove home exhausted. I pulled into my driveway ten minutes later and slumped to the front door. I unlocked the door since no one was home. I walked slowly into my room and dropped my bags onto my bed and fell to my floor.

Life for me was exhausting. I called my dad wanting to know if I had to make dinner. I heard a ring for a little while and then he picked up. "Hey punk what's up?" he asked. "Are you guys gonna be home soon? Or am I making dinner tonight?" I asked tousling my blonde hair I took out of my ponytail. "Uhm, we wont be home till late. So I left twenty dollars on the kitchen counter. Go order yourself something to eat. Love you." he said hanging up. I sighed. I got up slowly and walked to the kitchen. I found the money on the counter just like he said, but this time with a note.

"Hey Christy! Listen we had to go into meeting with our Dean, which mom and dad needed to attend, so if you could be a doll, order me and Jess something from wherever you order from! PLEASE! It doesn't matter where it's from though, you know were not picky! I love you 'lil sis! Love, Lisa xoxo." I grumbled at the letter and crumbled it into a very small ball and threw it against the wall. No matter how much we all loved each other, I'm used constantly. I grabbed the phone and called Naples Pizzeria. Hours later, when everyone else got home, Lisa and Jess looked in the refrigerator and grabbed their subs that I bought. I was asleep when they were home.

I woke up and went through my normal routine. Practice was cancelled because coach had a meeting for states. So I was home earlier than expected. I saw more cars parked in the driveway. I got out and ran into the house to hear lots of chatter. I dropped my things by the door and walked into the den. There were people dressed all fancy, Jessica and Lisa, and then Jessica and Lisa's boyfriends and our parents. Another meeting about something. Mom looked over at me and widened her eyes. "Excuse me," she said as she scooted across the room with all eyes on her. "Hey Christy!" Jessica and Lisa said waving and smiling. I smiled a shy smile. Shawn and Trace waved to me too. My mom pulled me into the foyer, giving me a evil look. "What are you doing home so early!" she practically yelled. "Practice was cancelled." I said honestly looking into her eyes that were filled with anger.

"You know not to come to the den when you hear guests in there!" she yelled. I shook my head in disgust and ran up the stairs crying. As I said, my life wasn't so great. I slammed my door shut making it so loud everyone downstairs could hear. "I'm sorry about her, she's got problems." my mom lied. Lisa, Jessica, Shawn and Trace all rolled their eyes. They knew how our mom could be, a BITCH! Upstairs, I was laying on my bed listening to my songs on my ipod. I blasted it so high I couldn't hear anything, not even myself breathing. Hours passed and no one came to see me. I laid in bed on a Friday night, which was odd. Normally I would be at merge the teen club with Michelle and her boyfriend Rob and Stefan. But mom pissed me off so I confined myself from the world.
