  • Sheridan's willingness to die for the cause made Kosh realize his own fear of death was selfish, made him reevaluate himself and reminded him of why he put his faith in Sheridan. A younger race making a Vorlon reevaluate its morality. An amazing thing happened here.

  • "You haven't done a damned thing but stand there and look cryptic" Brilliant really sums up Kosh's job on the show! :D

I don't think Vorlon technology was necessarily better, but more like both races being very different from each other.

Vorlon tech seem to focus more on individually powerful but fewer ships, while Shadow tech seems to focus more on larger numbers but individually weaker ships. It more or less evens out in the end.

  • @JustinsSoapbox What do you think.

  • @twilightzoneseinfeld I don't think a single Vorlon is that powerful.

As for how exactly the Shadows killed Kosh, the scene was deliberately unclear; all it showed were blurs, noises, and Kosh's mangled encounter suit at the end.

  • @JustinsSoapbox Yea but can't a Vorlan destroy an entire ship with their psychic powers, and exactly HOW did they kill him? Did they use psychic powers too? Did they use claws, or what?!

  • @twilightzoneseinfeld They outnumbered him.

  • "There are so few of us." uh.....Bullshit!

  • @JustinsSoapbox A Vorlon seems more powerful than a Shadow,...HOW did they assasinate him?!

  • the Vorlons technology seems BETTER than the Shadows at times.

  • "I've got nothin to lose" lol kinda had to rethink that one when he was dead

  • Seems like a lot of people never realized WHY Kosh was acting this way. ;)

He knew that if the Vorlons intervened at that point in the conflict, the Shadows would find out while they still had the means to assassinate him -- which [SPOILER ALERT] they eventually did -- and thus prevent him from helping out at an even more crucial moment later on. Kosh wasn't being aloof and arrogant; he was facing a painful moral dilemma, and with Shadow spies all around he was not free to inform Sheridan.
