Well i used contact wire to bridge the 2 points on the circuit board and used superglue to hold it in place (sounds wierd but it worked)
-
I sold that particular phaser for £60 on ebay
-
how did you get the sound to work alongside it?
-
how much would you sell it for?

oh but if you used a ps3 bluray diode will the beam be visible just as your beam showed or will it be just a laser dot

@Hudson21Nguyen
the beam would show up on camera for definite, it doesn't show up to the naked eye unless you have a smoke filled room or you have a way to alter the light that would illuminate the laser beam. in a well lit room the laser just appears as a purple dot but this is still a powerful laser..
I'm actually in the process of building another Blu Ray laser which should take about a week or so depending on time and how long it take for parts to arrive.

you used a ps3 laser diode right if not then what did the diode from before it was extracted?
Hudson21Nguyen 1 year ago
@Hudson21Nguyen
The diode itself didn't come from a PS3 it was an ordinary Blu Ray diode that i bought from Singapore.

what diode did you use? what driver? and how many mW's is it?

@VEDDIESEL
this is what i used in my phaser project 150mW 405nm Blu-ray Blue-Violet Laser Diode Module Kit
